Requirements: Android 4.0 and up
Size: 15MB
Rating: 4.5/5
Type: Adventure
The game tasks you with guiding the survivor of a futuristic crash landing to safety as he navigates the challenges of staying alive on the surface of an unfamiliar planet. Lifeline takes the form of phone notifications, like text messages. It begins as an intercepted transmission from an astronaut, Taylor, whose ship crash landed on a barren moon and needs your assistance to make various survival choices. It’s somewhat similar in that regard to The Martian, a game we recently posted.
User review:
I was somewhat drawn into the whole story just right after starting. I played Lifeline 3 times and took whole different paths. To be fair, they intersect quite a bit. The dialog is written very well and it was a fun journey over all. But every now and then the last word of a sentence would not be displayed properly. Only the top half was visible and you had to guess what it was saying, which was fairly easy most of the times.
Description of Lifeline 1.6.1 for Android: (free download below)
Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.
What’s new in version 1.6.1
– Added a brand new Lifeline short story from Dave Justus! Strange things are happening on that mysterious moon and a group of elite Marines have been sent in to investigate. Find out what happens next in the epilogue to the original Lifeline!
– Fixed a couple of crashes that could happen when you tapped a button to respond to Taylor.
We hope you enjoy the Viridian Actual story update, and check out Lifeline: Silent Night to continue Taylor’s adventurermance.
